Born Loser and the Hangers On, commonly shortened to “BLATHO,” is an American ‘theatrical rock’ group, who will never die at the age of twenty-seven. They formed in 2009, and after many close calls (usually narrowly missing being hit by cars) evolved into the multifaceted group they are today.
In high school, they were involved in the following extra-curricular activities: President of the Chess Club, Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper, President of the Rotary Club, National Honours Society, President of the Anime Club, President of MADD, President of the Association for Underprivileged Phoenix Epileptic Dogs, and Treasurer of Truancy. They are awesomely unique and have an EP you can download for free on their website!

Brad Cooper’s love for music began at the early age of five while studying classical piano. The joy he found while playing the keys spurred a desire to explore other facets of music such as choir and guitar. Although music had always been a prominent part of Brad’s life, it wasn’t until his college years that he decided to pursue it as a career. While at Texas A&M University, Brad played a weekly show at a local steakhouse and began making a name for himself as a musician. From The Republic Steakhouse in College Station, Texas, to The Brown Owl Studio in Nashville, Tenn., the journey for this Pop singer-songwriter has been an illustration of faith, friendship and music.

Future Loves Past is a band that brings together six talented musicians to form one powerful musical entity. They combine various styles of rock, including psychedelia, indie, folk, soul, and more. The charismatic group captured the essence of unique rock music through their distinctive use of harmony and melody to produce an individual sound. Students, faculty, and staff alike came together on Wednesday to enjoy the band’s talented display of rock and harmonics. The band further displayed their talents, switching instruments for some songs and playing with ease.

Future Loves Past released their debut EP on December 3^rd, 2011.

On Wednesday November 9th, 2011 from 11:30am-1:00pm, the Arizona electric audio/visual duo 2TONEDISCO will be performing on the ASU Memorial Union North Stage. ASU students will come together to grab lunch and watch one of Arizona’s up-and-coming electronic performers.

2TONEDISCO is a collaboration between James Campbell and Aaron Olmstead. As a regular performing act at Phoenix’s dance club Sticky Fingers, 2TONEDISCO have garnered a large following in the electronic community. As self-proclaimed troublemakers and dance party enthusiast, the duo have focused on the production side of the DJ world and have won over their fans with their unique combination of dance-electronic music and accompanying visuals. After playing various music venues and festivals for crowds of varying ages and different backgrounds, the duo have their sights set on taking on the MU North stage for Arizona State students.
